Lodoy FAQ
Honest answers about what Lodoy is, what its AI agents can actually automate, which channels are reliable, how autonomy works, and what it costs. Lodoy is the AI-operated company: build a company, hire no one.
What is Lodoy?
Lodoy is an AI-operated company: a workspace of AI agents — a CEO agent plus the marketers, researchers, and specialists it hires — that do real work across 200+ connected apps around the clock. You set the direction in plain language and decide how much to delegate. The tagline is "Build a company. Hire no one."
What can Lodoy actually automate?
Lodoy generates images, video, and audio with your brand kit applied, edits and analyzes images, creates tasks that assigned agents auto-start, hires new agents, runs connected actions across 250+ app integrations, remembers facts, sets goals and projects, and runs scheduled routines on a real cron engine. Marketing is the lead use case; the engine also handles sales, ops, and research.
Does Lodoy publish without me, or do I approve everything?
It depends on how you delegate — autonomy is a controllable spectrum. The default is draft-for-review, but once a channel is OAuth-connected you can let agents and routines publish or send unattended. You choose the autonomy level per channel. Only destructive deletes, hiring agents, and over-budget incidents always require your explicit approval.
Which Lodoy channels are reliable?
Lodoy reliably connects email (Gmail, Outlook, Mailchimp), LinkedIn, WordPress, Webflow, Slack, Discord, and X (Twitter) via Buffer. Connect each once over OAuth. Meta, Instagram, and Facebook organic posting and DMs are unreliable and not promised. There is no paid-ads management on Google, Meta, or any platform.
Is Lodoy real-time?
No. Lodoy automation is scheduled or triggered, not instant. Routines run on a real cron scheduler (with a friendly UI — no cron syntax needed) and tasks start when assigned. There is no real-time DM or comment auto-reply: actions fire on a schedule or when a task is triggered, not the moment a message arrives.
Do I need to be technical to use Lodoy?
No. Lodoy is built for non-technical founders, solopreneurs, and small teams. You work through a chat with your CEO agent in plain language. Scheduling uses a friendly UI with no cron syntax, integrations connect once over OAuth, and onboarding can scan your website URL to pull your logo, colors, and description automatically.
How is Lodoy different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers prompts in a single chat. Lodoy is a workspace of multiple AI agents that do work and take action across 200+ connected apps — generating branded media, running scheduled routines on a real cron engine, hiring specialist agents, and publishing to connected channels. Lodoy executes and remembers across runs; ChatGPT mainly responds.
How is Lodoy different from Jasper or Copy.ai?
Jasper and Copy.ai are AI writing tools that produce copy you then place yourself. Lodoy is an agent workspace that generates branded text, images, video, and audio AND can act — running scheduled routines, connecting to email, LinkedIn, WordPress, Slack and more, and publishing to channels you authorize. Lodoy operates; writing tools draft.
How is Lodoy different from hiring a marketing agency?
A marketing agency is people on retainer. Lodoy is a workspace of AI agents that work around the clock from $20/month, with no hiring, contracts, or hourly fees. You set direction and decide how much to delegate. An agency brings human judgment and ad-buying; Lodoy does not manage paid ads and runs on scheduled automation.
How is Lodoy different from Zapier or Make?
Zapier and Make wire apps together with rigid trigger-action rules you build step by step. Lodoy is a workspace of AI agents that decide and create — generating branded content, hiring specialists, and running routines — then act across 250+ connected apps. Lodoy reasons about goals in plain language; Zapier and Make execute fixed predefined flows.
What does Lodoy cost?
Lodoy uses credit-based pricing and is in public beta. Free is $0/month with $3 one-time credits. Solo is $20/month or $192/year (most popular). Team is $150/month or $1,440/year. Enterprise is custom — contact sales. Higher plans add more agents, routines, integrations, storage, and team members.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The Free plan is $0/month with no credit card required. It includes $3 in one-time credits, 5 agents, 1 scheduled routine, 2 integrations, and 1 GB of storage. It is meant for trying Lodoy and running your first agents before upgrading to Solo at $20/month.
What integrations does Lodoy support?
Lodoy connects apps through Composio with 250+ available actions, authorized once over OAuth. Reliable channels include email (Gmail, Outlook, Mailchimp), LinkedIn, WordPress, Webflow, Slack, Discord, and X (Twitter) via Buffer. Integration limits scale by plan: 2 on Free, 10 on Solo, 50 on Team, and custom on Enterprise.
How many scheduled routines and agents do I get?
Limits scale by plan. Free includes 5 agents and 1 scheduled routine. Solo includes 20 agents and 5 routines. Team includes 100 agents and 100 routines. Enterprise is custom. Routines run on a real cron scheduler with a friendly UI, so you build recurring automation without writing any cron syntax.
Can an AI agent operate Lodoy for me?
Yes. Lodoy publishes a machine-readable skill file an external AI agent can read to onboard and operate Lodoy on your behalf. Point your agent at the skill at /agent-onboarding/SKILL.md to set up your workspace, connect apps, and start agents. You still set the direction and decide how much to delegate.
Is my data and brand safe with Lodoy?
Your Brand Kit — palette, logos, fonts, and voice — is applied automatically to generated media, so output stays on-brand. App integrations connect over OAuth and you grant access per app. Autonomy is yours to set: the default is draft-for-review, and destructive deletes, hiring, and over-budget actions always require your explicit approval.
